Do Touch - IHME Project 2015

“The stars of Helsinki museums are coming to you, unleashed in your neighborhood. Get ready for the greatest show and tell on Earth.”
– Jeremy Deller

Do touch has been imagined for IHME Project 2015. In this work the public on their everyday rounds will momentarily be faced with their shared past, when museum objects leave their glass cases and make their way into the hands of city residents in public spaces. People will have a chance to inspect selected objects from the collections of Helsinki’s historical museums for a week or more in March 2015.

The project is a collaboration with the following museums: National Museum of Finland, Helsinki City Museum, Military Museum of Finland, Customs Museum and Museum of Technology.
